Il primo Arctic Parka, infatti, venne creato nel 1972 per proteggere i lavoratori degli oleodotti dell'Alaska dai rigidi climi artici. Imbottito in calda in piuma d'anatra, è realizzato in Ramar Cloth, un tessuto idrorepellente e resistente al vento che garantisce una barriera contro la pioggia leggera. Le linee slanciate del capo sono rifinite da un inserto staccabile in pelliccia intorno al cappuccio e da una serie di tasche per tenere gli oggetti essenziali a portata di mano.
